The latest craze is Pickleball. What is it? Well, it is a cross between tennis and ping pong as you use an outdoor or indoor court and net just like tennis. However, you use a paddle instead of a racquet to hit what appears to be a whiffle ball that is usually yellow in color so it is easy to see.
In the Wall Street Journal, an article titled "Pickleball champions share their workout" tell how to stay fit for this hot new activity. Basically, movement that includes bicycling, stretching, and following a healthy diet are the keys to being serious competitors.
So, if you aren't into Pickleball, why not get involved in an activity that will "use" your fitness...In other words, give your workouts a purpose.
