When you think about it, (other than shopping), things tend to slow down. Also, if we are routinely exercising, we tend to put off our regular activities. An article published by NBC News spoke about how regular daily activity...even just walking, can prevent depression later on in life.
So, if you have experienced depression during the holidays in the past, try establishing a daily 20 to 30 minute activity where you are walking or gardening...Staying busy to keep depression away from you.
