Hiring an Orlando Personal Fitness Trainer...Is It Worth It?

Fitness Training is the best thing that you can do for your health. It can reduce the risk of chronic disease and improve your sleep habits and self-esteem, even your sex life!  Exercise also helps you to lose your weight and manage your blood pressure. 

So, why aren't more people hiring their own personal trainer?  At least, enrolling into a fitness training program?   It could be that most people perceive personal trainers as being judgmental. (By the way, I am not...read my bio).  Yes, It could also be the cost.  However, when you consider the personal and health costs of being overweight. such as the lack of energy we have for our job, our family, and our interests?  What is the true cost versus the benefit of hiring a personal fitness trainer?

Before You hire a personal trainer or begin a fitness program, read these five steps:

1. See a Doctor.  Especially if you have been inactive for a while.  A doctor can assess your ability to begin a fitness program.

2.  If you do not see a doctor, at least perform a fitness evaluation by fitness recording your pulse rate before and after a one-mile walk, body mass index, number of push-ups you can do at a time. (Click Here: Body Mass Index Tool)

3. What are your fitness goals?  Beginning a new sport? Getting Ready for a Marriage?  Make sure your fitness goals align with what you really want in life.  Goals start to become a reality when you write them down.

4. Do You have access to exercise equipment?  The benefits of using equipment.are consistent results and safety.  A personal trainer can help you use this equipment to get the most out of your workout.

5. A priority of any exercise program are proper stretching and a time for warm up.  This will support your fitness program goals by reducing your recovery time between fitness training sessions.

6. Measure to succeed.  There is an old saying that if a goal is not measurable, you will never achieve it.   Hiring a personal trainer can help you stay accountable to your goals.

The first thing you will notice when you begin a regular fitness program is how it elevates your mood and helps you better control your emotional state.

- Aerobic fitness

- Stretching
- Body Core Stability
- Balance
