Why You Need a Personal Trainer Part 1

Hi! This is Chill.  Thanks for taking your time to read my posts about personal training.  I am starting a series on why you need a personal trainer.  I know, I know.  You may think that this is a little self-serving to talk about why you need someone like me to help you attain or maintain your personal fitness goals.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  I would like to approach this subject a little bit differently than most trainers.  So, here it goes!

Any casual observer can tell you that there seems to be three types of people when it comes to personal training.  Today, we cover the first profile: Classic Couch Potato Syndrome, (CCPS).

Yes, this type of person needs little explanation.  On an interest scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most intense, passionate interest in getting fit, this person scores a 1 to 3.  Usually, a life threatening or other motivating change in their health helps motivate them to make a lifestyle change.  Now, what is interesting is that many who suffer from CCPS have made attempts at getting in shape in the past.  However, excuses or life just got in the way of pursuing that small voice inside that was crying for personal fitness.  Symptoms include: Exercise equipment being used to hang clothes on, hand weights used as doorstops, or, fitness programs purchased online that gather dust.

So, how do you get out of this funk?  First, realize that you aren't the first person to suffer from CCPS.  Many of my students were in your shoes...or, rather on your couch!  The old saying is "every journey begins with the first step."

If you can dial a phone, you can take the first step.  Call me now and let me know that you suffer from CCPS.  I can help you take those first steps.  Remember, I was once a couch potato who weighed 315 lbs.

Call me now at: 407-415-1266.  i can help you find that small voice again, in ChillFit style.
